A true masterpiece. From the creeping descending bassline, the lazy and dirty lead guitar to Beth's beautifully haunting vocals.

Strangest thing happened to me on the way to work involving this song. Was walking to work, about 15 minutes it takes and this song came on as I was listening to the second half of Dummy. Closing in on work, placed around the town centre, with Glory Box playing, the lyric "I'm tired of playing with this bow and arrow" ringing through my ear and I see two lads who I know well. I take my earphones out to speak to them and, nearby, a busker is playing his own music with a familiar sounding bass-line. I look around and I hear the lyric "I'm so tired, tired of playing with this bow and arrow". And I do the sharpest double take known to man, I couldn't believe my ears. What an insane coincidence. Shows how universal this song is though, brilliant.

@@RadioPsychicAstrologyByPepper still right where I started, maybe worse. Creating the absolute worst case of codependency with an absolute selfharm threat, mood shattering, toxic, immature, broken woman you can imagine being 25 yo grew up in/around house gf died in. Yupp. Went from occasional coke, off prescription drug use to iv hatever I can get my hands on, renting our room and mattress to someone who I strngly believe to be a murderer for a little dope every week. Dove right in headstrong dickfirst. Wish me luck!

Lyrics: I'm so tired Of playing Playing with this bow and arrow Gonna give my heart away Leave it to the other girls to play For I've been a temptress too long Just Give me a reason To love you Give me a reason to be A woman I just want to be a woman From this time, unchained We're all looking at a different picture Through this new frame of mind A thousand flowers could bloom Move over, and give us some room, yeah Give me a reason To love you Give me a reason to be A woman I just want to be a woman So don't you stop Being a man Just take a little look From outside when you can Sow a little tenderness No matter if you cry Give me a reason To love you Give me a reason to be A woman I just want to be a woman It's all I want to be Is all woman For this is the beginning Of forever And ever It's time to move over It's all I wanna be I'm so tired Of playing Playing with this bow and arrow Gonna give my heart away Leave it to the other girls to play For I've been a temptress too long Just Give me a reason, to love you

30 anni sono passati da quando è stato pubblicato questo meraviglioso brano, ma rimane sempre assai piacevole da ascoltare e riascoltare! Lei ha una voce spettacolare!

Amazing! Doesn't remind me of this programme or that programme, this film or that film, but does remind me of being stoned in my bedsit in 94.

This song reminds me of being stoned, seeing the whole world as one big dream but in a good way. We were about to play live in Melbourne Aus as a support act and I was so stoned I thought my instrument was shrinking. But it was all good. Life was a never ending party. I didn't grow up in a normal way. Now the world is about to change forever, humanity is about to be shocked into a new reality. I don't think I will ever be able to shrink back to my former self. Problem is, I was happier then. Just know we all have better times coming once the truth comes out.

Music peaked in the 90s, everything else came after that was just re-work of what's already been achieved
