Dumb question Frosty... how do you know it's a snapper before seeing it? Is it just the feel in the rod, or the fight or something? Or is it just hoping?

When it bites snapper have a big tell tail sign the rod bends and almost bounces and when its in your hands you can feel its big fast pulling down pulses I can tell loads of dish from how they initially bite and fight
