Portland Police clear out anti-Israel protestors at Portland State University library

On Thursday, police cleared out anti-Israel protesters that occupied Millar Library at Portland State University, according to KATU.
Later in the day, KATU reported that police returned to PSU after leaving the area earlier, allowing protesters to retake the library. Arrests are being made.
In an email to KATU, Portland Police Bureau spokesperson Mike Benner said leaving the library was the bureau's plan once the school erected fencing.
"Additionally, our personnel had been working very long hours under extremely difficult circumstances. We are monitoring the situation," he wrote.
A PSU spokesperson confirmed the protesters had retaken the library.
