I always loved the opening of POAL. The drydown on my skin though is kinda simple. Frankincense and rose is basically all I get, especially in the sillage. But I always come back to fragrances, so I'll give it another shot in the future.

I received this in a sample and my husband (who is picky when it comes to scents) walked in the room and loved it. It is an amazing perfume! Great review and description. I do have to agree that there is a scent of oud (which is my all time favorite scent) and it is the perfect blend of sweet and spicy.

Agreed on all counts man-one of my favorites. It’s quite masculine on my skin-emphasizing the patchouli and incense. On my wife, it’s actually a fruity and jammy rose dominant scent. And for fun, we tried it on her sister and it smelled powdery and balmy resinous-crazy what skin chemistry can do!

I absolutely love this fragrance! It is definitely a head turner an attention grabber ! Literally a little goes a long way ! When I first got my small bottle I completely forgot about that rule of it and went in on my jacket 🤦‍♀️ over a week later the smell was still fresh that’s how potent it is ! I truly believe woman or man will appreciate this fragrance! Very nicely done !

Love portrait of a lady, sometimes I get a little self conscious wearing it, because it’s so loud. One spray, and it enters the room before I do. My wife uses the hair mist, it’s pretty nice as well. It’s pretty much the same scent, just a bit less fruity, and the volume turned way down.

Great video! I have two bottles of this fragrance and have been a fan for quite some time! Do you know where I can get one from an older batch? I believe that the newer ones dissipate much faster. I miss the old formulation that could be smelled from a mile away, lol! Now, I need half a bottle for people to pick up on it. I also have the body butter and shower gel. They help somewhat, but not as much. Thanks man!

Funny enough I’ve blown through a sample and actually thinking to go and pay full retail for this today or tomorrow 😱....I never buy retail....but this is worth it IMO. Great take on the scent .... Just got my sample yesterday. Wearing it now. It smells as good as I remember. It seemed a bit sweeter in the opening, projected a bit better, but other than that no major differences to my nose just yet. Awesome fragrance man. Still not sure if I want a bottle or a decant (10 or 20ml).

@@Honior I first tried this maybe 5 or 6 years ago and I thought the same thing. Heavy grandma vibes and I couldn't understand why anyone, let alone a man would wear this fragrance. But then I tried it again a couple years later and began to sorta like it. Nothing major, just want repulsed by it anymore. But over the last year, I have been head over heals for this one. It's like everything "clicked" and I finally got why this is such an awesome fragrance. It's amazing in the right climate, setting, vibe and outfit. I've had that same experience with other fragrances (Tobacco Vanille, Roja Parfums Enigma Parfum Pour Homme, Parfums De Marly Herod, Kilian Paris Single Malt, etc.).
