Humano's way of highlighting faces will certainly have to be considered as influenced by Warhol, but he isn't an epigone, given that he does not multiply the portraits and ornaments them so elaborately. He also has a stronger focus on youth and on tenderness, leaving behind him the trend of the 20th century to suggest philosophical depth by avoiding these facets.

@@Mateo_Humano I just have googled a few photographs of your works. These -enjoy- [a verb now obsolete when used like this] are delighting me quite a bit. I've grown up (after my birth in 1975) surrounded by a lot of kitsch apparently aimed at appearing like a continuation of Otto Dix (1891-1969), and also surrounded by much of a cheap graffiti that even still is haunting me today when I drive into Vienna from the west, once a week or so, to buy food. Such experiences again and again frustrate me, because the creations look like enlarged images of rubbish lying alongside roads, as if such rubbish simply had begun to creep up the walls. I begin to feel as if all soul had been drained from the world, in such moments. It won't help much then if I see - and be it as an original - a Madonna by Raphael, a Rembrandt, or even a Ruisdael with its tighter similarities to the style of our time. The gap is too wide. Such paintings cannot bridge the cleft between their cosmos and an every-day life of the big cities of industrialized nations of today with its inner poverty. Your pictures on firewalls or on walls of garages do provide such a mediation, thanks to a subtilization they achieve of the stylistic elements of illustrations which are mundane but are basically unspoilt.
