probably the worst close and opening ceremony ever...there is no artistic sense at all!! Shame on Portugal! Opening ceremony was totally copied from Sydney and Barcelona Olympics!!

thats why uefa euro 2004 was the best organized ever and used as a model in perfectionism and security. had better infrastructure and most successful theme song ever ;)

De4ler22 yes probably, but I'm talking about closing/opening ceremonies here, and those were totally rubbish...plus Portugal lost for the Greeks, probably one of the weakest teams in Europe...I can't see success here, sorry...

+nacht98 And Barcelona actually kind of copied the sea segment from the Auckland 1990 Commonwealth Games, which is something many don't know since its an anglophone event (search in Google for it). I think the sea and naval ship segment was appropiate, considering the naval history and pride of old kingdom of Portugal.
