Great seeing you two again at the Expats Everywhere meet-up last night. I told Kalie I was afraid to watch this video because I was worried I might discover I can't afford to live here. 🙂 But seriously, these types of real-world budget videos were among the most helpful to me and Lisa when we were debating whether we could really afford to pull the trigger and set off on our continuing adventure to Portugal. Ola! Kathleen...that smile! Thank you for this video. What happens with health care when you visit the U.S.? My continuing adventure will be a vacation in the Azores, the island of Sao Miguel, the last week of April this year. It looks like paradise and I can't wait! Obrigada

Açores is on our list! It definitely looks like paradise. When we visit the US we get travelers medical insurance. If you are traveling from the US to the EU check out AXA out of Belgium. Keep having as much fun as possible and let us know how your Açores adventure goes.
