[Portugal] Lisbon Fire Engine // Sapadores Bombeiros de Lisboa

Awesome! 10 of those MAN TGL engines were acquired, a MB Atego was refurbished with the new superstructure/paint-scheme and they all arrived in early 2018. They're built by Jacinto Lda. - a portuguese company in Esmoriz. Martim Moniz fire station is also relatively new, being part of the reorganization and modernization of RSB Lisboa - now stylized as Sapadores Bombeiros de Lisboa. I can tell you that, for now, there's plans to build a HUGE Headquarters located in Marvila, which currently houses the Environmental Control (HAZMAT) and USAR Units, but not many details have surfaced yet. They are planning to acquire some new ladder trucks and in the meantime a brand-new MAN TGM Tanker - built by the portuguese company Luís Figueiredo - and a Scania platform truck - built by the spanish company Incipresa - also arrived recently. RSB is currently working on a Diving Unit, based on a huge Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, currently parked at the HQ station of Dom Carlos I Avenue, which will be transformed internally by the Logistics Department of RSB. It's great to see new RSB units responding, especially because I currently stopped filming and turned more towards photography - leaving sort of a "gap" in newer Lisbon units. The radical paint-scheme and visual identity shift were also a breathe of fresh air, altough I'm unsure if they are going to paint the older active units with the new graphics. @@PolishPianoOrgan yes, AS320 is terrible, (not the AS320PO , it has better WAIL and YELP tones from the simple AS320) , the best choice from Federal Signal is the PA-300 siren...the leader in siren amplifiers..

La peor sirena jamás hecha de Federal Signal Vama. Tonos muy malos y lentos. Sus tonos de sirena no tienen sentido para que los conductores se alejen. La mejor sirena de Federal Signal es PA-300. Muy potente y con excelente calidad. Muchas estaciones de bomberos en Europa tienen problemas con AS-320 debido a los tonos lentos, el problema del uso de AIR HORN y el cambio de tonos, y toda la construcción del amplificador. La mejor solución es Federal Signal PA300
