Was not expecting the explanation of SSTV in this video! Portal actually got me into using SSTV to contact people over amateur radio. Also using some modem software for radio its a pretty neat feeling to basically setup "wifi" that goes 30+ miles.

Yeah, the Transmission Received ARG. I was unsure of how many people actually know about it, so I felt compelled to explain what SSTV is. I might do a video of one of the test chamber radios being decoded.

@@NateCraven318 if you need examples of SSTV being used in the real world we have a tower setup to listen. I could grab some cards of people making contacts from across the US at least. Though kind of overkill for a video about a portal ARG lol.
