Dude, do your research. In Victoria, Au, the miners have to put down a bond for reclamation. There is a 256 document on the internet if you choose to read it. In Canada, most resource producing mines, operations have to have a reclamation plan approved by government ministries before they even start to mine. The companies pay for that reclamation. For major mines etc, an public environmental assessment is needed to start, as well. Consultations with the First Nations people, if they are effected have to be done as well. If not done, hefty fines are levied and they still have to fix it up, or they are not allowed to mine anywhere in the province/ territory. Alaska has some of these similar policies. I am 🇨🇦, so I know more about Canadian laws/ regulations. Stay safe, stay sane, be well
