So for an simple explanation there was a air bubble in the hull since it's a cruise ship with all the rooms and corridors there will be air left inside and then some room on one side of the ship started to flood with water and the bottom was filled with water and the air transfer up into the other parts of the ship which made it bouyant and flip over again but there was too much water in the ship and it sunk

Good job on this Since I see it in the comments everywhere, allow me to explain. The Poseidon is not a real ship. This is a movie from 2006 that was a remake of a 1970s film named The Poseidon Adventure, which itself was a film adaptation of a book of the same name. The author of the book wrote it after being a passenger aboard the real ocean liner RMS Queen Mary during a storm. The ship was hit by a massive rogue wave and listed (leaned over) hard, to the point where if the ship had gone any further it would have capsized (rolled over). That's why in the 1970s movie, the SS Poseidon is based on the Queen Mary, and why the MV Poseidon from this movie is based on the Queen Mary 2. Both Queen Mary and Queen Mary 2 still exist. Queen Mary is a museum, hotel and restaurant in Long Beach, California. Queen Mary 2 is still in service as an ocean liner.
