MrPerfect2000Z I sing this when I'm stuffed into someone's car

I watched this a few weeks ago. because my girl never saw it. I never realized what the deal was with "grandfathers shed" Grandfather would tell the kids he was off on an adventure to an exotic place when he went out to the outhouse to wrestle out a poop. "I'm off to Timbuktu" That's quite amusing, When you're old and have hard mileage on your body a healthy bowel movement is like a holiday. That character is probably based on some old veteran of Victoria's Foreign Service who had a shot up disease wracked body Ian Flemming knew as a kid who would pack a kit to attend to their business in the outhouse who came up with that shtick, to announce that they needed some privacy. I had to share that thought.

My father was somewhat like a mix of Grandpa Potts and Commander McBragg. His stories were wonderfully made up, and as he was born in Ireland in 1917, he had that Imperial air about him, even though he was poor. That's what I loved about him- it didn't take money for all of us to travel the world and meet the Potentates of Europe. All it took was imagination! That's the message of POSH and Grandpa Potts. He was a remnant from the Old World. People like him, who had lived through the Millennial reign of Christ, were considered to be "Eccnetrics" or looneys and placed into asylums. We would sing Posh when going on a trip. He had a Dunhill cigarette lighter with someone else's initials on it! Totally in character for my "posh" papa.
