Just to say I have now reached page 12 and I am over the moon with it! It was so much easier than I thought - really do-able - and I have enjoyed every moment! Thank you Tamara so much for guiding me through my first memory book, hopefully the first of many!

Thank you for sharing again, Tamara and well done for completing all twelve pages so beautifully. It's funny, but when you had finished the last page, I thought exactly like you, before I heard you change your mind and made the last page your page 11. Great minds think alike. I think the one you swapped it for finishes the keepsake book nicely. I love your choice of colours and how you managed to get embellishments to match. I am sad these videos are coming to an end, too, but we will always be able to come back and refer to them for inspiration. I look forward to other tutorial videos. Kind regards.

Hello again, Tamara. Just thought I would tell you that I am unable to get Tonic's Oxford Index Box die set to make the decorative edges for the flips and flaps. I think Tonic may have discontinued it. I thought if anybody was in the same position, watching this video, they might like to know that I have recently bought and received Crafter's Companion Die'sire Create-A-Card's Decorative Edge Set 1 (Product Code DS-CAD-EDGE1) and Decorative Edge Set 2 (Product Code DS-CAD-EDGE2). The latter die set has a die very similar in style to the Tonic Oxford Index Box die. Each die set has 4 edge dies (5.75 inches long) and all of them would make lovely edges for flips and flaps and pockets. I hope that helps any memory book makers who are struggling to find something right or similar. x

Started watching your tutorials. Love them and so helpful. Thank you. I've bought Craft card 300gsm which is cracking when I fold it. What card would you suggest please.
@TamaraMortonCrafts4 жыл бұрын
I like to use Annamaire Designs kraft card I find it doesn't crack, it's also slightly less gsm I think its 280gsm. You could try going for a slightly less weight for the inside pages too.

Beautiful. I am new to making books. Your video was so helpful. I was curious what you was using to remove the excess glue? I have been waiting to order the tonic dies but it seems to always be out. Thanks for your videos.
@TamaraMortonCrafts4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment. It’s called a glue eraser and works brilliantly to remove excess glue. xx

@@TamaraMortonCrafts thank you so much for info. Will be picking up one of those eraser.

The glue rubber. If you search adhesive rubber you should get a few companies that make them. Try the online store that offers prime. lol

@TamaraMortonCrafts6 жыл бұрын
You might get the small pages into the Jr but definitely not the larger ones as you need the bigger machines x
