Poshmark NEW FEE STRUCTURE?!? OOPS We Messed Up! Or Did They?

Buyers dont like to be charged to shop for the most part. Nice for those that made money, but I sure did not see a benefit in the fee passed to buyers. This is why i dont pay some of the other places fees because i dont like to pay to shop.

Curious, if you didn't see a bump in your profits with a dramatic fee reduction is it because you sell items for less than $15 or you saw an overall drop in sales? Or are you just approaching from the buyer's standpoint? Will you shop eBay when they change their structure?

Hooray!!!🎉 I was earning a bit more from each sale, but the buyer’s fees were ugly. No telling how many offers died before the final click.

For the average sales price I have, I didn't see my sales impacted other than more money! I do think they could have worked out something better for the $15 price point. Or even moved to a flat buyer fee such as $2.95 and reduced our 20% fees by that amount.

I have whiplash with all these changes! I didn’t lose a dime and made the most money I’ve made in a while (and the month isn’t even over) and my ASP went up. I just wish they would make a decision and stick to it. People can bitch and moan but reselling (and business is general) is survival of the fittest and if you have items people want, they will buy 💪

@@arleenem9828 I whole heartedly agree! What will people blame next when their sales don’t pop off after the fee structure goes back? Couldn’t possibly be them. Cough, cough.

After just making a new video, It helped me figure out- it most generally averages out to Posh was taking about 13% in the new structure. Check a few sales and see if it maths for you, Multiply your sale price by 87% and it should pretty much come up to your earnings.

I think they should not have taken away the shipping discount. That isn't right.

I guess from what I heard there were glitches in the fees charged to the buyer also. I heard one buyer say she got charged a protection fee from one seller but no fee from another seller. So it sounds like there were glitches that might contributed to the change also.

Interesting feedback, I haven't heard that! all the items I tried to buy or purchased def had the fee. I did have one item start with an offer from buyer before the change took place and after it took effect, I still paid the 20% original fee because the back and forth started under the old! I was disappointed, thought it would close at the new.

I lost money on some smaller sales but that was more than offset by the profit I was making on larger sales.

Since the change, I had made more sales and more money. I experienced no negative outcomes after the fee structure changed. It will be interesting to see what happens next in regards to my sales.

I made great sales and regular sales during the fee change. I to experienced no negative outcomes from the recent change.

Posh mark rips off sellers.... my daughter made more and was a good month! Posh mark is destroying it self.

Not sure how I feel about change back. I do sell a lot of items over $100 so I think it would have effected sales long term. Are my sales down, not sure but my asp is down from last month , significantly (68.84 vs 89.25) . I have heard about the rumbling about eBay, they are testing it in the UK, I would be really surprised if they do that in the US since they cater more to buyers than sellers. Guess we will see. I will say I think Manish should step down his leadership is questionable

My ASP swings from week to week, sometimes pretty dramatically, although I am working towards moving it up over time. It has not gone down. I do think looking at a business with any name attached to it, that makes a sweeping change for only 2 weeks is a bad leadership decision. Agree with you!

Same here I was loving it too-many of my sales were over $100-my buyers didn't seem to complain either but I see how it did add a lot for the buyers :/ I'm accepting all of my offers until the 24th because I know i'll be getting less again too once that 20% kicks back in!
