I sort them a bit by color and wash them mostly in the washing machine at a delicate program (30 degrees celsius) with a Neutral detergent. Or some I wash by hand or some just in a regular cycle at 40 degrees. Depending on the type of fabric

I took a lot of your advice when taking my 1 year olds birthday photos and they turned out beautifully! :) Now I am planing on taking my 6 year olds birthday photos.. and I am a little nervous. I usually do outside in nature, and now because of the cold weather I am trying inside portrait. I have found your channel so incredibly useful and I am wondering do you give any online classes or even just a video chat session ?

Thanks for the ideas! My trouble is that my 3year old doesn't like posing. But we kinda need to make some photos because there's a tradition here where we live... And also she's moving way to fast, even when she tries to hold still. Have you ever worked with kids like that? Is there any way to get nice shots?

Sounds like a lovely active girl. Maybe have her hold a helium balloon, blow bubbles, hold flowers, play a game or sing a song. Also, have a fast shutter speed and make sure your light and camera settings are good from the start, because she might only give you 2 minutes. That might be enough though :)

Thank you! They actually have a dehumidifier in the butterfly part (where it's the most humid). You can hold your camera or glasses for example under the device and the lens will defog. I used it before, but this time my lens was fine.

​@@jeannettew3868 As a photographer with a tendency to perfectionism, I am always looking at the whole picture AND the small details wich form this whole picture. And in this case the sandals bothered me. They are clearly too small. It is funny how often parents overlook such things when they book a photographer for their kids...

I think her sandals were fitting her well. However the off shoulder dress was a bit too big. I discussed this with the parents, but we decided to keep it like this and I quite love the look & feel of the dress. It's good as a photographer to look at details and discuss this with the parents, so you can decide together if you want to change it or leave it. Also, so they don't ask the impossible later when you're editing. Keep i mind though, that it was a portrait shoot. Creating beautiful images of the girl for herself and her family. It wasn't a fashion shoot where we were creating an ad for sandals/clothes.
