Hi there! I love how you integrated the eye /window onto her face. It worked perfectly. I also had forgotten the tech of using the watercolor onto the gesso and then sprinkling the alcohol inks. I used to do it all of the time but then was ill for a couple of years and couldn't really do much. Thank you again, your collage is beautiful and fun!

I just hit the Nat Geo lottery! I found someone selling 10 years of issues for $15.00 CANADIAN!!! Now I just have to get over how beautiful these images are with their stories... and start cutting and ripping! I want to thank you for your laidback attitude which helps me get on with my art. I tried reverse collage many years ago, with just filling in gesso area with images to fill in the spaces, but never like this with the collage pieces on the original image...great job...love it!!! Thanx for sharing.

Well, good grief LorriMarie!! I typed in collage, and could NOT believe YOU popped up! YAY!!! 👏 👏 👏 Crazy that you popped into my life yesterday. (Was it yesterday, or day before. I have NO concept of time now that I'm retired!!) But, anyway,.... here you are,...again. I'm SO HAPPY!!! I've been thinking SO MUCH about you. Wondering how you are doing. Oh, I forgot to tell you I lived in Vellejo, CA around 1988. Moved there right after my fiance passed away. To live at a girlfriend's condo. I couldn't WORK or go to SCHOOL. Cuz I cried so much. And being near ocean has always been very healing to me. Ocean & waves, so rhythmic, remind me of the powerful forces in nature. How my problems are small, compared to problems in the world. Very spiritual Anywho,...I've started collaging lately. I've had 6 major surgery in last 5 years. So I'm mostly healed from them all now. And no parts of my body need any medical help right now. So I'm FINALLY physically & mentally ready to get back to my arts & crafts. Learning new ones. Cuz there isn't anything I HAVE to do. So I can "just play"!! Well, I'm going to watch your video. Sure good to "see" you again. And now I KNOW who you are. I like when you pop up. Take care Sweetie.

I've love your done work and how the creativity flowing .. Loved this piece! Collage is my first (art) love. I started a junk journal and ended up with a collage journal instead. I have never used gelatos before, so hesitated to buy a set. The color was beautiful, though. And I am crazy about the alcohol technique. I immediately thought of air bubbles in water. I need to try this with an under-the-sea theme. Thanks again for the inspiration. You are an absolute doll. :)

Thank you, LorriMarie. I've been away from the art table for a long time. Creating art is something I've truly missed, but have been a little hesitant to jump back in. I'm out of practice. Collage seemed to be a good jumping in place for me. I love my collage journal, but I'm ready to branch out. I recently started working on my first altered book. I've been inspired in so many ways by your videos already. I'm looking forward to learning more. Your content is awesome. :)
