Normal value for NRA is +2.50 There is no normal value for PRA, it depends on AC/A ratio and NFV, PFV value

That is a different calculation. Generally if AC/A ratio is high PRA tends to be higher than -2.50D

There is nothing called negative relative convergence, there is only negative fusional vergence (divergence) and positive fusional vergence (convergence)

Maam can i ask you a question? How do minus kens stimulate accomodation? Because as i have read,during myopia the lens is too much thick that the image forms before the retina,which means accomodatiom is high. So according to this shouldn't the minus lens relax accomodation to focus on retina?

For contact lens wear always remember that Accommodation & Convergence increases wearing soft CL in Myopes. It is opposite for Hyperopes

And then what happens to accomodation in case of myopic glass wearers?

Normally when you read at 40 cm, the Accommodation demand is +2.50DS(100/40 =2.5) So if you place a minus lens, it will increase the Accommodative demand to focus the image on the retina, that's why accommodation increases.

In myopia ,after wearing minus glasses we need to view the distant objects right? So while viewing distant object how is the accomodation stimulated? During active accomodation the lens is thicker and rays bend more quick,isnt it? I am sorry for so many questions but i am completely confused.

@@rashmisapkota3854 See this is about adding extra minus lens over your current prescription. Be a myope, emmetrope or hyperope, if we add more minus lens over current prescription, you are going to accommodate. That only we are measuring in PRA
