Those baked oats recipe is PERFECT!! As someone who is a late night nibbler, I’d rather go to these than chips or a large snack. I’m going to try this out tomorrow but instead of a pan, as a single person I’m going to do them in muffin cups so I can freeze the rest. Thanks Amy!!

@@PositivelyAmy I made them last night, I couldn’t help myself, they were DELICIOUS!!! For the ones I made in a muffin tin, I topped them with some wild French blueberry preserves and for the main batch I made in a heavy 10” amber glass skillet, I added a can of half drained peaches and some of the blue berry preserves on top. It reminds me so much of a cobbler without the over abundance of filling. Now if I could just stop eating it I’d be ok lol!

Thank you for the recipes. I made the potato haystack casserole. I did make a small change by adding black beans to the meat crumble. I am going to share this yummy dish with my family.

I like the idea of adding the black beans! I'll have to try that too.

Hello Amy, I really enjoy your videos. Can I give you an advice though? I don't know if this is the same for everybody but sometimes I struggle hearing your voice because the music is too loud. Of course I don't mean to be rude. It is just that I would enjoy to hear you a little better! 😉

My meatloaf I add sweet pepper yellow or red green is to strong,egg,chopped onions,garlic,a sauce I make with spices or ketchup added to the meat. Really delicious freezer meals. I use bacon on top of my meatloaves also but warm up the sauce on the side to pour on as some like it and some do not in my family. ☺
@PositivelyAmy4 жыл бұрын
That’s a great idea. I don’t like a lot of sauce on my meatloaf but my husband does😄

@@PositivelyAmy ... and the bacon gets crispy! Looking forward to more videos. Do you have a list of those freezer recipe ingredients? You can always put them on your etsy page as a free download or a small charge. :-)

The recipes that I used are copyrighted, and I am not able to share them, sadly. But if I do another cooking video, I will try and do some research beforehand and see if I can’t get the recipes to you somehow. A lot of viewers have asked for recipes and I feel terrible that I am not able to share them.
@lynnware92024 жыл бұрын
@@PositivelyAmy No worries! What I did was write down the ingredients as you used them (especially for the baked oatmeal) then you can figure out measurements. Searching the internet for similar recipes once you have the ingredients is an option too! Or... maybe you'll have to make your own cookbook! :-D

Do you defrost the ground beef and then mix the meatloaf, then put it back in freezer? How long do typical freezer meals last in freezer. I never did it before and I’m very interested in making home life easier! Haha! Thank you.
@PositivelyAmy4 жыл бұрын
Yes, let your beef defrost, and then mix. It kinda depends on the containers that you use to freeze them. Some ladies put their freezer meals in freezer bags and I think that would keep longer that the foil pan that I used. The more airtight the package is, the longer and better it will keep. This is all from my experience. Hope this helps!

Thanks for sharing these recipes. Will try these for sure. I do have a question on the baked oatmeal. Do you need to freeze the extra , will it keep in through fridhe and for how long. Thanks
@PositivelyAmy4 жыл бұрын
Yes, it will keep in the fridge. I'm not sure how long though as ours never lasts too long :)
@wendystevens95484 жыл бұрын
OK thanks will try this soon.

When you say Nacho chips, do you mean the Doritos Nacho or the round white Nacho chips? -the Mrs.
@PositivelyAmy4 жыл бұрын
I should have made that clear, sorry! We usually use the Nacho Cheese Doritos, but I'm sure the other would be good as well. Thanks for asking. :)

Do you thaw the meatloaf before you bake or bake from frozen?
@PositivelyAmy4 жыл бұрын
It’s best to thaw it first, but I’ve already put it in the oven partially frozen. Just not in a glass pan, because it can crack or break.
