Hi , in my situation is not any difficult comunication , i don’ t any of health condition, i did that because i was told by orthodontic to do it for my braces , It is veryyy important for parents to help their children with their health and other affections. Yes that mum can Comunicate with her girl wich it amazing.

Noticed the earphones in the ears and recognised the cues. My twin is autistic and is the exactly the same with sensory overload (has to wear earphones). Lovely respectful way the doctor and paramedic dealt with her, recognising her difficulties and respected her boundaries but still got the diagnosis

Doctors surgeries and hospitals can be very distressing for people with sensory issues. Doctors/nurses have to come right in your personal space for examination, there are bright lights and beeping machinery. The chairs, bedding and gowns have a rough texture as well

I am autistic aswell deaf I does struggle yes same as that girl with sensory overload if anything like as injections blood tests etc or things touching on my skins I does get anxious but after that I am ok as I know they are helping me too

It's just so very easy to leave a comment like this without making some effort to support what you are saying. In this case, it would appear the child had very recently had the operation (and it is an operation, not an 'operation') and there was bound to be some soreness and pain afterward. Regrettably, the child is putting her finger under the tongue to feel the stitches and that might indeed lead to infection if it were to continue, but not here.

That first lady was lovely, & I do hope she hasn't had anymore grand mal seizures, I'm sure she was really frightened when that occurred for the first time in a long time, however, I do just want to point out that the word flu is often misused, & trust me when I say you'll know when you have it (& you won't be making it to any drs office). Viral infections are awful & can make you feel absolutely dreadful (as well as bad colds), but flu means you have such a raging high temp / fever you have to lay & wait for it to break - you can't physically move due to the severity of the deep & debilitating body / all over joint & muscle pain, & it can take weeks - a month to fully regain strength again. People often say they have flu, but i promise you'll know if you've got it xx

I’ve seen some of the news about the worst colds ever going around. Chest congestions can make you feel run down, you know when we feel like there’s mucus dripping at the back of the throat & then to the chest, it’s called a chest cold.

What is a tongue tie

You know how under your tongue, there is a piece of tissue that attaches your tongue to the bottom of your mouth? A tongue tie is where that piece of tissue comes to near the front of the tongue, so they don’t have much movement, and can have trouble eating and talking.

@@navjotparmar2318 No. A tongue tie is fixed by they snip the tissue near the front of the tongue tying it down, so then it’s like a normal tongue.

Usually the tongue 👅 tie is fixed in infancy. It would have easier than doing at 12 years of age with her autism. She also keeps rubbing it with her finger, that’s making it red and angry looking🙁poor little sweetheart 🙋🏽‍♀️💕
