Just what we needed Alex. After a pants day in work and having to put the heating on, what a wonderful pick me up. So many happy memories of this wonderful town. It's our favourite time to visit, unfortunately can't do 2 holidays this year. Nevertheless, we were transported there for a short while tonight.! Thanks Alex. 😘👍

Ahh, perfect timing Alex! I’m flying out on Saturday, and after 45 years of staying exclusively in Puerto Pollensa, this time I’m adventurously staying in Cala Millor instead - inspired by your walk-arounds! Looking forward to nice long walks between Cala Bona and S’Illot 😀

Hi Alex We stayed at the Gran Sol in 2015 and the hotel was really great, lovely views over the sea with the sun rise just over the sea every morning, really beautiful hotel. Thanks for popping in, it takes us back. Cala Bona was a lovely wee place to stay and your video has put us in the mood to return possibly next year. Thanks again for the video and keep up the good work.

Hi Alex. Great video. Our first time last year to Mallorca and Cala bona at the Alicia. Tried Cala d,or this year just for a change of resort but although we liked it there it’s back to Cala bona next year and many more years too hopefully. Such a very lovely resort and the walk along the front to the harbour is wonderful. We have booked for the Bonamar so can’t wait to see what’s it like

Thanks for mentioning the Gran Sol. Stayed in it 9 years ago and am back soon. A lovely smaller hotel - quite select and perfect for those who like quality and a more peaceful pace. Entertainment is low key which suits us as there's so much elsewhere in the resort if you want it. We love it and the fact they offer a bed & breakfast option rather than only having the option of half board, because we like to support the local restaurants and enjoy those amazing sea views from them rather than spending every night in the same hotel buffet. When we were last there the breakfasts were great as well.

Must have just missed you, we were having a late lunch this afternoon outside the Cala Bona hotel looking over the harbour. We’re staying in Cala Millor and must say we’re quite surprised at how busy the walk into Cala Bona has been, the beach was really busy on Monday and Tuesday with only a few sun beds unoccupied by afternoon.

Gran Sol is a cracking hotel Alex, lovely staff, great food and good facilities. Went with friends in Oct 2023, only down side was the sea was warmer than the swimming pool brr ! Smithy's bar really nice for lunch and Magners cider. Would we go back again, probably not as resort a bit quiet for us.

Never been to cala Bona...looks lovely though. Another place to do a good walk through would be Iberostar Club Cala Barca at Barca Trencada close to Cala D'Or. Been there 4 times and love it. You can either walk through reception of down the path to the left hand side (as you look at it) or reception. Easy walking distance from this hotel to all the beaches of Mondrago nature reserve.

Just back from cala bona , lovely but cala millor nicer , mich more going on & our hotel was awful, Catalonia del mar - im not fussy but the foid was terrible, cold & not the clean dining area for food prep
