Hey there bro, I went 72nd today at regionals with your decklist I tweaked some sides to my advantage against certain matchups and removed some cards on your list and mained some other few as well. It helped alot because of my games went to round 3. I went 3 - 4. Thank you.

@@armontay5264 Removed 3 ogre for 3 D Barrier and if I go against Plunder Patrol I remove my 2 twister and side in 2 Dark ruler

@@armontay5264 Forgot to mention I removed Libic because it's a brick that unbricks a brick that I don't even brick into but it is good if you want to main it.

@@V0D1738 Libic is good if you have to have the ba engine going for your combo but if the ba engine isn‘t necessary for the combo he isn‘t neccessary ( or shouldn‘t be played in the first place). But he isn‘t a brick lol if you summon cherubini which is always your first extra deck monster he just acts as an extender or you dicard it with torn scales. He is an extender that unbricks bricks not a brick that unbricks bricks imo atleast I never bricked on him ever lol

How did your matchups go? Like what did you struggle against? Im thinking of adding dark ruler to main due to it being good against most decks alongside droplet rather than the chalice you have going on. Also how was tour guide and the double psychic extenders? Did a lot of your opponents have imperm/veiler for it?

1. I struggled against the 2 control/stun matchups I played(dinomorphia and floo) but I still managed to make it to game 3 both times. Game 1 was understandably rough against them both since my main isn't properly equipped to deal with either deck. Game 2 and 3 were much easier(despite losing). Any combo player I played against I had 0 issues, the deck had enough gas to push through almost everything going first or second e.g. against swordsoul baited all interruptions and arc rebellion for game 2. Dark ruler catches so many players off guard game 1 and any time I drew it(except against control) I won that game. As for the droplet/dark ruler combo, that's up to personal preference, I'd rather play chalice droplet. 3. Tour guide was hit fairly often with handtraps but I didn't particularly mind that as it's a strong hand trap bait. However, it has the same story as dark ruler as any time I resolved tour guide I won the game lol. As for the psychics I think I could reduce it down to 3 psychics instead of 4 cuz I think 1 psychic for 1 etele is just fine. Hope that helps!

@@BraveCarriesFr lol since you already run Tour Guide and BA look up Doom dog Octhros(spelling might be off) and Norleras. Almost all of his cost is done from your basic Cherubini play, and you can get a light fairy like Dagda into grave via link climbing. You tend to also use Double Byte Dragon too, as it’ll give you a nice beat stick and reduce your opponents resources to nothing.

@@BraveCarriesFr lol I definitely recommend giving it a shot. It has its flaws, of course, but it takes a particular kind of deck to bounce back from having no hand :p and all of PKs resources are in the grave so we are good to go.

Would you recommend playing both Requiem and Draco Future in the same deck? If so, which one would you prioritize making?

I don't think I would play them both, it's too much extra deck space they take up together(for me at least). If all you care about I negates then prioritise Dark requiem, but I'm a bigger fan of the utility Draco provides. It's just up to personal preference.

Would you consider the combo to go into ophion using the rankup quickplay?

For this meta, I'd say ophion is actually kind of insane. Locks swordsoul, despia, punk therion ect out of their main win conditions if it's not negated. That's a really cool idea and I might try it myself

What do you think about the DPE package with the Predaplant engine?

I think that package is wild asf. The ability to go full combo and either scythe lock or add DPE on top of your board is insane. If you'd rather play it I'd 100% support

Would you rather play Requiem or Arc Rebel? I feel like like Requiem has more versatility but it takes another combo to bring out, and it takes you a slot for the Rank Up Spell. What's your preference?

If you can play both that'd be pretty based(I'd take out Draco if you wanted to play Requiem). But if I had to pick one for myself it'd be arc rebellion just cuz it's easier to access and the turn 1 is already strong enough

How often are you able to make Draco Future? I'm having trouble having enough resources to make it.

Make sure to have some pk cards that can revive themselves if you get nibbed and make 2 leviair by having cherubini in your extra zone so it doesn't get destroyed. Preferrably I would go first when you make Draco as they negate/floodgate/destroy your board if you go second especially with eldlitch players. If you can't go to Draco just go Rebellion for game on 2nd turn if it is then if you can survive the grind game and bait them at the same time so you can get to you Breaksword to Rebellion as easily as possible.

@@V0D1738 So you mentioned having Cherubini in EMZ to protect Leviair while trying to go into Draco. So do you opt not to go for Rusty? Or do you try to prioritize Draco over Rusty and if you can you'll just make Rusty later?

@@armontay5264 I played Cherubini to just protect leviair and link to rusty with the summon from banish so I can go to draco and rusty but that's my go to but yes rusty then draco but it is risky sometime in which I pass and scoop

there are better cards. It‘s not a good extender and it is not a combo starter it‘s not worth it
