Jack Russells, my favorite small breed. Their default state is "comin' in hot". I think of them as 100 lbs. of dog stuffed into a 15 lb. package. All heart, no fear.

Our Jack Russells did the very same, and we were expected to fully participate for maximum zoomie velocity - every time they passed us, we had to pretend to 'get' them so they could run off and bounce off the back of the lounge chairs, then repeat the circuit! Good times, I miss those nutjob dogs so much 🥲

I couldnt help but smile and almost cry through this video. Our Jack Russell LuLu passed on June 1st, and its just been so hard. So much personality and excitement, and just contentness to be apart of what you are doing these dogs have. The sound of those little paws tap dancing faster and faster through the house to find ya lol. They are truly unique and amazing and so special❤️

What a beautiful Jack Russell 🥰 Reminds me of our dearly departed family JRT, who was always full of beans. When he was a pup, nothing would calm him down at nighttime even after multiple walks and much activities during the day, and everyone else in my family would get too frustrated with him, so I would hold him against my chest and sing to him until he fell asleep. Worked like a charm every time 😆 After that, I was always his go to for some peace and quiet when he was finished with his daily shenanigans 😅 RIP Lewis, you’ll always be my first dog love 💕🐾

Sooo cute! My JRT Jazzy would zoom all around the house after her bath! She loved taking a bath! She died in Jan 2022 after 15 years with me, I miss her so much! There is no replacing that dog 😭She would find random coins in the house and sit ever so patient with one on her lip until you seen it and traded a treat for it. I called it buying a treat! God I miss that dog!

I have a little Cairn Terrier who gets zoomies after bath time as well. She likes to wait in the bath tub and sing until I grab a towel to dry her off. I lay one down on the floor too because she likes to roll off to be dried as well as being scrubbed with the towel. She absolutely tears up the house running around when she’s dry and frequently uses me and her adopted Pit bull/Cane corso brother Hurley as a launch pad. I love these creatures so much.

I've got a very similar puppy (Bodeguero Terrier) that acts the same way (Terrier way). Long ago, British Merchants in Southern Spain brought over their ratters (most likely Jack Rusell and Fox Terriers) which later resulted in the Bodeguero Terrier breed, they are a bit bigger than Jack Rusells, with longer legs. But the attitude is pretty much the same.

I have a rough coat female. She's so much fun, smart as a whip. She'll fight anything. Fearless little dog. Best friend I've ever had at. Stays right by my side, not afraid of gun shots, fireworks or anything. I won't let her get in over her head because she's only 18 pounds. Truly a hunter. These dogs are not a good first dogs, they are very cute but a hand full.

when I was a kid, we had a shortwire terrier mix named Tasha that did some funny stuff after a bath.. if you went up to her and buried your face in her fur and smelled her.. then said in a soothing voice "Ooohhh.. you smell niiice." (she did!) She would do that embarrassed dog thing where she covers her face with her paws, then act all happy.

The markings are the EXACT same as my little Taco Terrier (Fox Terrier/Chihuahua), Lily! That’s absolutely wild! Lily had a Chihuahua temperament, though, whereas your little cutie is more like my Australian Terrier. Ferocity becomes him! 💚💚💚

I 💜💜💜 the breed. I still have my Tucker, but these days are loooooong behind him. He’s slow & has a white face but never had a health problem (other than atopic dermatitis in summer) & is still chugging along at 17 yo. Im pretty sure he’s gonna be 20+. Your little guy is beautiful

My Pocket Beagle acted very similarly after s bath when she was young though she still goes stir crazy as a senior. Get our Italian Greyhound (who lives with mom separately from me and my Beagle. She moved) into the mix and you got two nuts zooming around as if they lost their marbles. 😂

It's like ALL the feelings they wanted to express instead of being 'behaved' for the whole duration of the bath PLUS ALL of the smooth, sleek and streamlined feelings they now have come out in one crazy bluuurt! of whacky super charged willfull license of outrageous PUPPY!!!!!!!
