It was a close game in terms of clear cut chances, but respectfully, Charlton deserved the win from the overall performance, you only have to look at the stats, its clear. I watched the whole game, Shrewsbury were hard to break down granted, but overall Charlton deserved the win.

We need someone who can control tempo in that midfield and keep possession a bit more when we have it. The issue is we will tire towards the end of games if we allow the opposition to have 65% plus possession. If someone how we can get the opposition down to 55% and still be as solid we will win a lot of games. I think Gareth knows this and will be hunting for one or two to achieve this in our midfield.

You might be positive but your tactics weren't. Bottom of the league and you need points. Defending for 90 minutes won't get you there However, I really like Ainsworth and I understand! You made us work hard for it today and fair play!

Thing is Shrewsbury , of whom I am a fan , is a feeder club .. meaning , we make our money by hopefully bringing players in from non league or our youth team programe and selling them on with a nice sell on clause aswell or a great cup run . One player does not make a team and never should it .. Same as a transfer in , you could buy in a player who is world class , and within 3 games he is injured and out for the season , and because you have blown your transfer buget on that player you cant bring anyone else in .. Likewise , we would be silly not to sell a player for a good price , because again he could get injured and be out for x number of games 😂. I for one are happy with Shrewsbury and as long as we keep over achieving I will be happy .. In all leagues there are plenty of under achievers , but not many over achievers 🤣
