If you don’t have insurance, find a Fqhc (federally qualified center) for getting the Pep. They work with you if you don’t have insurance

well if you both are negative then pep is not the option for you prep is the correct choice for prevention pep is only if you feel there was exposure to hiv hope that helps pep is only temporary medicine while prep can be taken long term along with other safe sex practices together

Hello! I started PEP yesterday and I’m afraid it can cause major problems to kidneys, liver or bone density. It must be taken for 28 days. It’s called Combivir in english which consists of one pill of AZT 300mg/3TC 150 mg twice a day. Can it damage my kidneys, liver or bones?

Thanks for your work. I had a finger prick then it stopped bleeding the about 40 min later had sex with a sex worker used a condom when I was removing it forgot about the finger and happen to touch it using it, 5 minutes later I remembered and panicked rushed washed my hands and the finger I did pressed it and it started bleeding again.
