I never got to ride Revolution as it was too advanced for my skills, but I was gutted when you had to close because it holds such a legendary status in the mtb community. I've subscribed to see what the plans are next. Wishing you all the best!

Revs will be back bigger and better I have every faith🙌🏻🙏🏻 and I look forward to either lending a hand or any support I can offer. 12 months ago my brother in law broke his Tibia on vision line😱 I need redemption on that line👊🏻😍best wishes to all the crew at Revs❤

Despite all that you guys have been and going through, the biggest upside of all this is you effectively have a clean (well, proverbially!) sheet to allow the Revolution Phoenix to rise from the stumps and bracken. You mention the tracks as were evolved over years with their iconic sections so here’s the fantastic (and bank busting) opportunity to address all the areas that felt short on the scale plus maybe add in some less challenging blue/red for us with a lesser skill set. Keep the faith and create a new legend 😎

Ah booo 😢 this makes me sad. So many epic days and Revs! And so much work has gone into the place. One of our fav places in the UK. Hope to see it back to full glory one day.

Sad to see revs as it is but a great to see some saved and a blank canvas for new mad tracks hopefully in the near future. I know the biking community would be should be more than willing to help out in anyway they can spade time clear up.

I. Can only imagine how gutting this was when it all started happening. Still one of my fav places I’ve ever ridden! I know you mention it wouldn’t be worth opening only one or two lines and opening up (I know that’s still a lot of work). But I feel like the community would really get behind and support that given the parks journey and reasons for closure. All the best - Callum

As someone fairly new to mountain biking, I never had the opportunity to the ride the park before the trees were harvested. I am very much looking forward to the day I can come ride the Mk-II version of Revolution Bike Park though.... RBP will be like the phoenix risen from the ashes. 🙏🙏

God, that’s brought back some memories! I loved Main Line! Absolutely at my level and never tired of it. And I loved all the rest, although 50:01 and Vision gave me my pleasure watching the younger more capable crews party training through. “It’s been dry for weeks and it rained last night, so start on Free Ride and cruise”, who remembers being told that? So stoked to hear you enjoying putting us on tenter hooks for the next vid: you seem more at ease with the situation and I hope your brother’s feeling the same. Yes, we will flick back the moment we can! Just let us know what you need from us and you’ll find it’s yours. Putting a package of trails together before opening is a mature decision, don’t get distracted from that. We’re here and always will be #revs4evs 🎉

You’ve a lot of work ahead and I’m absolutely not trying to take anything away from devastating and sad this whole thing has been for you, but I’m kind of excited to see what new wonders you come up with in this most iconic of hillsides… 👊❤️

Would it be possible to organise a volunteer army to help with labouring, or if people have specific skill sets that would help? I’m sure lots of people would offer a bit of their time for the greater good! Just supply tea and coffee, pizza and maybe a discounted uplift per shift ect?

Sad but informative video. I never went to revs but watched my pro videos of the park. When the trees were felled did you receive any funds for the timber? Did the timber go for firewood etc ? Gl in the future !

@@guymuttley1I heard the pub across the road helped clear the timber as they also took a economic hit, with the park closure. But the park had to finance the felling and also the clearing unfortunately.

I know it's different to how the parks always been, but that big chunk of land at the bottom, what about a skill area, wouldn't need an uplift but could have some north shore stuff and just fun type as a warm up area, then a nice little stroll back to the uplift to go ride the bigger trails maybe. Hill looks awesome bare though, I know it sucks but there's so much potential

Many hands make light work, a voluntary work force to rebuild one track at a time that way all effort and concentration into a single project will mean things get done quicker with out over complicating things wondering about the next track and the one after that etc. Along with rewards in place for so many hours contributed say for every 5 hours worked will get you a free uplift…50 hours will get you a 6 month free membership 100 hours 12 months etc this is just an example but over winter when people aren’t riding as much a few days digging and building would be great for fitness the ground is softer too. For those that can’t but would like to help release some Ltd edition bright orange hoodies “supporting the revs revamp” ? Along with those helping also get to buy a hoodie so they can all been seen on the hill side safely and doing their bit. Rome wasn’t built in a day but revs can be rebuilt 1 day at a time.

With everything gone, it seems like a perfect blank canvas to put lots of new lines in? Could the quarry be opened up again? Not much wind there? I know you don't want to be 'just another bike park' and more of a serious freeride/DH park, but could you put in a nice sweepy/cruisey blue at that lower bit below Main Line? Never went to Revs, too tough for me but a good blue to get me fitter and get confidence to roll down a red might temp me? Could it be an opportunity to put in some wooden features and North Shore etc? Or even a dual slalom run around the stump? Thinking right out of the box, could you dig right down under the trees, knowing they're not going to be falling down, to create a line that runs around and under the tree roots!?

You guys should check out glencullen adventure park dublin, they operate a bike park in conjunction with forestry commission. They manage 50 pc covered trails and the rest is bare harvested hills
@martincantwell2557

Think the thing with glencullen is the side that got felled tends to not be too windy. Where as the side down to the lake is and is usually unridable unless theres no wind...i know from being in revs a good few times its quite a windy spot unfortunately.

hi there. I've been thinking when or if you guys gonna back to the game and here you are.🙏 It's kind of sadly that all the trees gone but is what it is. 😢 Another thing I just got in my mind that You guys should run some patronite funds support on your channel so the whole community could support you and help with this such a big project. I never rode dh but I remember when I've been watching yt years ago and I saw your bike park first time its make me want to go there some day for 💯 percent! Now Im waiting for my new bike and again I wish to see that place in new shine. I think there's out so many people that will send some funds including me to help that you should guys not even wait😊 This can be much better place than before and I hope that's gonna happen.

Holy shit guys! "harvest" this is just pure slaughter! atrocious way of using the land, why can't they do it in stages, succession plant, haverst some every 2-3 years responsibly and consciously, this is why I am getting out of the bike industry, sometimes it just feels like it's toys for wealthy priviliedged people that are unfortunately unconscious. RIP to this land!
