As somebody that literally does this stuff for a living I am a musical engineer and post Malone uses a lot of auto-tune every performer uses a lot of auto-tune even when they do live performances you think you're hearing them live most of the time it's auto-tuned microphone that has certain people such as myself somebody that does you know music PA systems you know all that somebody that does music won't really be able to do it but all you need is a microphone and the right systems because you can literally do autotune on any performance microphone you just have to have the right set up and you can literally do anything with those kind of setups you just that's all you really need is the right stuff to do it there is a certain software you get and you can do anything with your voice you can make them sound like an alien if you want you can make them sound like they are perfection next time you listen to The voice or any of these shows where they sing live on sage competition shows all of them use autotune listen to the really good singers even though they have really good voices they still Auto-Tune the crap out of their voices and you can hear it if you really listen it's going to be harder for you if you're not somebody who is musically inclined to listen to the small things but if you really listen you will hear certain the way you like the runs are there's a difference between a real run and a auto-tune run everybody uses auto-tune it's just what it is even people that say they don't they do they're lying even if it's like the slightest tweaking other voice that still considered tweaking of their voice and that'not natural and there are people that do really sing good but they still do stuff to their voice after the fact because that's what you have to do for it to sound like super crisp and clean like you got to figure out the audio and sometimes when you fix the audio it makes your voice sound even betterv but it's all about the way that your voice sounds and a lot of people choose to edit their voices because it sounds better on the radio it sounds better on a track that's why when you hear a lot of people live in concert and you go oh my gosh like they sound so much different on a record yeah because there's a lot ofauto-tune but a lot of people don't catch it because it's not just auto-tune it's literally mixed and mastered and everything so there's all kinds of different layers that can cover up some of the auto-tune sound but almost everybody to use it and post Malone most definitely uses it so stop acting like he doesn't because he most definitely does and I do this for a living so I can spot when somebody is using auto-tune or when somebody is not using auto-tune and everybody that I've heard that cuts a professional track has pretty much used Auto-Tune
