First time listen for me also. I'm almost ashamed to admit that I didn't pay much attention to the lyrics. I just got caught up in the acoustic guitar and the quality of the voice. Came here looking to see if you had made another Rush reaction and found something new. I quite liked it. Thanks.

I dare you to do something I think just means he doesn’t have the courage to end it, so maybe “I dare you to do something so bad that I don’t have to be the bad guy. Or, just I dare you to end it so I don’t have to”
