thanks for the video. in england I do similar but use my sarel roller to get some spike holes into bare and damaged areas then drench... next day will put the loam and seed mix( made up three days before game )

For slightly better levels long-term I reckon you're better off topdressing after soaking the wicket when the pitch is a bit more swollen than when it is dry. I'm a big fan of rotary mowers for post-match clean ups too. And for maintenance mowing of the wicket square.
