Robert Englund is such an expressive, charismatic figure as well as a fantastic storyteller, I could sit and listen to him all day. Thanks for posting this gem, among others, Mr. Garris!

You can't unsee Freddy in him. He has the inbuilt framework of the character. The hat is part of the getup and it's so unsettling.

Without the prosthetic makeup? He can put on the hat, sweater, pants, glove- the whole outfit and, still send shivers down your spine.

Mick Garris is the perfect interviewer: Ask very good questions and then be a very good listener -- and when the interviewed by himself want to discuss some topic, he is very intelligent, knowingly -- and says things that the interviewed can give an even deeper answer on. Being a good interviewer is always to set the focus on the interviewed and et the best out from him or her -- never to try so shine yourself.

(2022) The fact that he mentions no one would think he’s Harrison Ford with the hat aged so we’ll. Cos two days ago Freddy trended on Twitter cos a picture of Indian Jones was released and everyone thought it was a teaser to a new Freddy movie.

As the new Freddy Krueger I can do Freddy's demonic voice naturally It doesn't need to be dubbed over like Robert's voice. Hands down I'm the actor they've been looking for to fill Robert Englund's shoes.🎸🎸🎸🤘🤘🤘🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲💫💫💫

Robert englund is the kind of actor who is not stuck up and not bragging or basically an a****** like a lot of celebrities are he is the kind of guy that will talk to you and talk not more or less about everything and anything but he'll listen to you and as fans he loves them and that's what I really respect about him because you know he's genuinely the one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet I met him a long time ago and you know he was truly epic. He wasn't stuck up he wasn't a jerk he wasn't an a****** he was just one of the kindest man you'll ever meet and he was just a regular guy who played Freddy Krueger and when I met him I was just like oh my God I can't believe I'm going to meet the man who you know gave me nightmares and he was just so kind and it's just amazing that 90% of the celebrities in Hollywood are complete assholes let's face it they are but there are that 10% that really are kind and caring and really love the fans and don't phone it in you know I'm sure Robert gets so tired of answering the same questions over and over again but he never ever complains ever. I mean he played Freddy Krueger seven eight times I believe it was and actually a little bit more than that and it's including the TV series which is I don't know why the hell they never released it they should it they need to but he never complained I think he's done over a hundred movies right now easily and you know I don't say this normally about all celebrities but he deserves a star on the Walk of Fame for what he's done for the horror community for what he's done for all the fans who care about him and how honest he is and how much he cares about us he deserves that he really does

I think Dracula was the first monster with a personality.
@ontologicallysteve77655 жыл бұрын
In Mary Shelley's novel, Frankenstein's monster had a very distinct and somewhat philosophical personality. I don't disagree (that Dracula had a personality): I just dispute the fact that he was *the first* . Best wishes.

I am a HUGE freddy fan!! I absolutely Love Freddy's comedy! The last nightmare on elm street with the new guy... First time I saw it... I hated it because not only did they add back into the script that he was a child molester (which they took out of the originals) they also stripped the comedy right out of it too and substituted with him constantly explaining angeryly why he was doing his killing. It took a bit of time for me to seperate one from the other. If It wasn't for the child molester part in the new one... I would like it now.

@@ryanjacobson2508 Why Does Quentin Tarantino Have a Annoying Voice Unlike Robert Englund?
@marked4death0763 жыл бұрын
He aint lying about the shadow and the hat and demeanor of freddy, could of been such a bust if another person was cast and they did some stupid monster type shit.
