This monochrome monster was my fav episode of the season so far. The freight challenge was cute and the runways were 10/10. Would love to see this challenge repeated. Also this is by far one of my fav boulet looks!!!! Incredible. It looked like they were having fun

its not just that episode 5 was a musical, its that its a clumsy musical with a lip sync elimination in a drag competition reality tv show. the whole thing felt more like drag race than dragula. even this year's drag race musical was more dragula (rosemary's baby shower).

What if for the curse casting we get this sort of mother witch dark smoke magic where the ghouls expand both hands and black smoke comes out and swirls and fills the room and then seeps into the other persons eyes and mouth and they become “cursed” very Alec from twilight

I think they did a disservice by not putting a backtrack during the musical. Didn't need to be autotune. I don't want to see people who can't sing doing a musical.

The musical episode was bad for many reasons. I don’t think anyone feels that drag race owns the concept of drag queens doing a musical, it’s just that the entire episode, right down to the lipsync extermination, didn’t feel like a dragula episode. It wasn’t glamour, it wasn’t filth, and it wasn’t horror. It was just borderline unwatchable. And you can’t tell me there wasn’t production meddling to prevent an Auntie/Grey bottom two, which is another way it felt like drag race. It’s okay to make a bad episode, but y’all could at least own up to it.

I thought the musical episode was great! It was good to see the monsters actually have to challenge themselves and it showcased them in unique ways. I would love to see it next year with more time/budget. Maybe have them do a horror musical/rock opera as one cast or split it up similar to the DnD episode. The lipsync I didn't like because it just felt rushed and kind of bland. Violet did have mean girl energy but I liked her a lot. Grays wings literally fooled me until Drac said something. Overall 2 great episodes. This season really is one of my favorites right next to season 2
