This senior non-exec director seems to have a very casual attitude to his role with POL. Doesnt know if he had meetings, no notes taken (or were they taken and then lost?). Surely a record of events is part of his job. Everyone ive seen at this enquiry working for/with POL seems to be both useless and incompetent. So much so, it must be in their job description. Over 900 prosecutions - thats nearly 10% of the workforce, and nobody knew anything about it. Prosecutions on an industrial scale - nobody knew. Ultimately the failure is in the justice system itself. Where was there evidence of stolen money - flashy cars, hotel trips, Rolex watches.... there was no evidence. So ultimately the system itself let everyone down. A terrible miscarriage of justice and on an industrial scale. Disgraceful

So once again they point the finger at Altman and Grabiner. It is now time for the quality of the advice from these two distinguished barristers to be assessed. To claim that the judge was biased by these two is with hindsight shown to be an appalling piece of advice and advocacy. Is there a law school responsible for teaching Altman and Grabiner such low standards. Otherwise they should formally and informally apologise to Justice Fraser and to the taxpayers and the SPMRs.

i do not understand where the questions are coming from - is Sir Wynn directing the Beer and whoever this other guy is? the mirror (cough, hack, mumble, spit) do not seem to identify him here. is the judge in charge of the questions, or is there a team working on this? can anyone explain the source of the questions, please?

Is anybody from The Miror going to comment /moderate on the appalling misogony and sexist comments during K Tolhurst evidence last night. She wasn't articulate or even focussed ; but the comments were disgraceful. Do better.
