Funny enough, i did this island early... with no idea how it worked... It was tough but made it through the whole thing. I did forget the ice trick and magnet. My suggestion to anyone who does this island is two fold. The hinox can be defeated as along as you push the nearby rocks down and then stasis them. When struck, it will launch at him doing okay damage. Also, if you loose a stone for the altar, just leave a good distance or get distracted because they will respawn. I had the stone at the top of the hill go down so i just waited it out.

I remember dying there on my first try, but on my second playthrough it was easy. If you look really carefully, there's tons of decent equipment hidden everywhere. Just make sure to do the easier enemy camps first and you'll be alright. And remember, if you've tried a bunch of times and are about to give up, the one thing he can't take from you is heart containers. If you come back a bit later with more hearts, it's immediately easier.

I beat Eventide Island my first time just through sheer willpower. It was real messy and I hated it. The second time I just dropped my best gear on the shore of the island while standing on a cryonis block and picked it up after the cutscene, then used it to beat the island. The only problem is I lost it right after when he gave me the rest of my gear.

Btw if anyone doesn’t know already when you go to the island that takes all of your items, you can sail there by boat and leave your items on the boat. Hop off the boat naked and start the dialogue, once the monk is done talking you can go back to the boat and get your items. You can now use your items that you got off the mainland in the challenge.

rt if you see this when you refight water blight if you run out of equipment you can stasis its cryo and launch it back it it and it does a good chunk of damage you have to stasis the cryo right before it hits you and then hit it back at it.

hey rt just a quick tip for dealing with hoards of bats. use stasis on one of the bats in the flock and the others will fly away without you breaking any weapons or losing hearts.

I completed the Champion’s Ballad about a week ago, and man I had a lot of fun and rage, when I got to the end, my game kept crashing so I couldn’t actually finish it, but I learned that the Cemu i was using wasn’t fully updated, so when I did that, and got some things that helped prevented crashing, I finally got to finish it
