I despise the "defense" RU plays. That "defense" was brought to the league by former wisc coach dick bennet, and the Big Ten has yet to recover from it. A slow you down, drag you thru the mud, foul all the time, 1920's "backwards" style of "basketball". Its outdated and has no place in a power-5 Conference. Horrible to watch.

It reminded me of an old Kobe Bryant story. When he went to play for the USA, he went to his team and said that the Europeans are very very good and if they didn't play 100% they would loose. He then said that on the first play they will set a screen on him to get their shooter open and the dude who set the screen was his teammate on the Lakers. He told everyone on the team he was running through that screen and he flat out flattened that dude and took his foul. It sent a message though, in that they were there to play and play hard. I only WISH Purdue had that kind of killer instinct and would have loved to see one of the Purdue players just level the Rutgers guy setting the screen. Then just walk off and not show any emotion. A dude hits the floor hard, and I mean HARD, then he thinks twice about that screen the next time. Still a good win for Purdue.

Edey gets a foul call every time he touches the ball. 14 foul shots for Edey, 13 for the entire Rutgers team. Seems fair.

@AllegedOrder again, what does one have to do with the other. Besides being taller than everyone else, Edey brings very little to the table.
