What is there to "normalize"? May anyone inform me how was the selective criteria for choosing this lady to be a winner? How did she passed the interviews while she couldn't answer a simple question on the top5? She couldn't answer the question on what she'll do differently if she was a leader to lessen the impact of COVID19. She was shaking & speaking in riddles while Peru,India,Brazil answers were far better than her. Stop mistaking our displeasure on how rigged the MU2020 was with hatred towards this Mexican lady,we don't hate her,we are rather disgusted but hiw she unfairly got crowned at the expenses other equally deserving contenders. This thing of emotional blackmailing people for pointing out something that is apparently obvious is absurd. The thing about unfair privilege is that it makes its beneficiaries ignorant,defensive & unethical. Stand by the truth even when it exposes your unconscious bias. The MU2020 edition was a crime scene. Catriona Gray set a huge standard,Zozibini Tunzi elevated the standard to the next level & BOOOM💥it was destroyed this year! I can't believe that in 2021,we still have people who would defend racism & discrimination . It defies logic!

Its more than 2weeks since the MU2020 edition happened just accept i know most of us are triggered because of the result. Mexico was nervous because she cant speak english straight like Catriona. Lets put the situation on you if you are in the stage answering that question and youre representing your country? What would you feel? Do you feel ok? Every candidate have pressure on this competition but miss Mexico is destined to win the title and she won.

Pensé nunca volvería a ver la coronación de otra mexicana como Miss Universe, recuerdo la coronación de Ximena en 2010, llegué de la universidad justo en el final look del top 5 y mi amigo de casa corrió gritando y jaloneandome desde la entrada hacia la televisión. Estaba super nervioso, salió Ukrania, Australia y luego quedaron solo Jamaica y México... The second runner up is Jamaica dijo Natalie, mi amigo brinco a la cama y gritaba de felicidad México es Miss Universoooo, yo no lo podía creer, solo veía a Xime con una cara tan Serena y con ese airesito en el rostro que le dio desde un poquito antes de ser anunciada, wow, fue un fiesta. En este 2021, justo antes del concurso se había ido la luz por un super rayo que cayó y nos dejó a obscuras una manzana completa, tuve que emigrar a un cafetería del centro, donde a gritos mudos y ademanes de aprobación me retorcía de felicidad en cada top, les juro que ya en el top 5 y al escuchar las respuestas pensé que las candidatas de Perú y Brazil llevaban la ventaja por que le imprimieron un poco más fuerza y sentimiento a su respuesta aún siendo muy básicas y predecibles, México había sido muy pasiva, tranquila, sin meter mucho sentimientos a la respuesta, pero su expresión facial y física eran a adhoc al contenido de su respuesta. Después de seguir los casi 10 días de concurso, en cada foro, missologo en Facebook, Twitter y las múltiples entrevistas en KZbin pensé... Sería muy injusto si gana Perú que demostró ser muy altiva en varias ocasiones o Brasil que a pesar que cada mexicano ama a Brasil y si no hubiera sido México hubiéramos estado super contentos en que ganará ella pues Andrea habia trabajado tanto junto son su organización y que por una respuesta que parecería no ser la correcta la desplazarán a un tercer lugar, siendo que ella y su lugar en los diferentes certamenes es de primeras finalistas a ganadora, pero los jueces vieron lo mismo que los verdaderos seguidores de los concursos y al final los resultados fueron los que tenían que ser. ¡Brinque por toda la cafetería! pues solo estaban ya los trabajadores era muy tarde en el sur de México casi las 11 pm. Ojalá me pasen los videos de seguridad para recordar ese momento épico... Es como ganar un mundial, el mundial de la belleza... Como con Vanessa, pero esa es otra historia... :)
