After hurricane Francis & Jean hit the East coast of Florida (2 weeks apart) we went to the beach. I carried about 40lbs of shells a mile or two back to the truck with a mesh bag I brought. Scored about 12 volleyball sized conch shells, a handful of baseball sized ones + many smaller shells. I gave some away but still have 2 really nice ones and about 4 decent ones. I've lived here since 1985 and it was a shell fest of a lifetime!

Good question! A good indicator is the True Tulip has a texture to it whereas the Banded Tulips are smooth. @@treasureseekerstours your so lucky. I have sea shells 🐚 from every sea, ocean, around the world. Love them so much🥰😍. Have fun. I would have my metal detector out. Never know, Mega shark teeth. Spanish silver and gold. I would go nuts looking.

@@57msdeb I thought it was going to be more than shoving people off the boat. A tour suggests to me that information about the location, how somebody who is going to visit would find your tour interesting. What sets your tour apart from your competition? The shells are beautiful but with a beach house I didn’t see any I need to add to my collection. @Treasure Seekers Tours sorry I didn’t see your request for constructive criticism. It was not what I expected and my expectations may have been unrealistic.

For whatever reasons, it really bothers me to see everybody walking on those shells! Then, kicking them all around made me feel very sad! Just seems wrong. Don't ask me why, it just does.

I know! It hurts to see but when there’s no where else to step, what can you do?? 😉

Thanks! We are monitoring the progress of the water quality closely. Thankfully the ecosystem here is extremely healthy and the water is looking much better than it did right after the storm. The filter feeders and plants are hard at work! ☺️
