BJP never got more than 37% of the votes. No nation/country in the world history made any progress by mixing religion and politics in a democratic setup. Nearest, best, latest case is SLank, besides Pakistan. RSS/BJP/Modi/Yogi are taking India back to the stone age by their politics of polarization, hate, fear, and confusion, for short term electoral gain. Already enormous damage has been done in the last 11 years to the economy (evident by the record breaking inflation/unemployment) and the image of India abroad which will take decades to repair after BJP is gone. But it will be a big, very costly lesson for India and Indians/Hindus of the future generations. Hindutva will be studied in the history books as Nazism is studied today.

Agree 100 %. His involvement would be wasteful. He shares no specifics. Shriji atleast mentioned the fruitful contributions of USAIDS in the past in agri reforms. Mr. Yogi if wanted to criticise the banning of USAIDS (which he actually didn't), he could have given specific example of the adverse impact on TB vaccination drive undetaken by govt of India which received the AID. If he has any genuine concern for the prospects and consequences in INDIA of this abrupt and across the board retraction of grant money from health related interventions, I have failed to notice it during this conversation. Basically this Yogi person made no point in addition to what all has now become a common knowledge. Hope his next interaction with our channel reflects genuine concern and data based narrative.

USAID data funding India $ 65.1 billion during 1946-2012 - 1) India was under British rule till 1947, did US fund UK in India in 1946? 2) 3rd Nov 1961, JFK signed Foreign Assistance Act into law and created USAID by executive order, so how could it India 1.5decades prior to its establishment? To link Rockefeller Foundation’s agriculture programs for Green Revolution in India in 1956 as USAID Funding 5years prior to its establishment in 1961 is incorrect. Proper investigation should be carried out as to where exactly that money went to.
