I found that video really useful, Ken, thank you. Lots of good stuff about interval colours and stress points that I didn't know about. I like the idea of following a full training plan or structured training plan rather than doing individual workouts. Having a plan that has been put together by an expert seems more likely to work than dipping in and out of individual workouts, which is what I've been doing! Thanks so much for your comment. I usually sign up for a training plan to prepare for an event. Like you wrote, a plan put together by an expert is better than just doing individual workouts that I pick out myself from a list. In between following training plans for events, I like to "keep sharp" by doing at least one "threshold" or "VO2" workout per week on Zwift or TrainerRoad.
