i really do love the loading screen of the Air Force Base level both the Original and the Redux one the Original pretty much shows all of the Postal Dude in his original form, with his long hair, while in the Redux i like the music and the way i interpret it could be the point of view of the Military, looking at the dude coming in the entrance, i got that from a comment, the person was reopri9000 in the video with all the loading screens, btw to me, the broken screen might also be the soldier's goggles, or the entrance guard's window as he slowly passes out from shock, trying to get a clear image

@@MAGNUSWAKERS both are technically about a random redhead with a coat, glasses, and goatee suddenly amassing an arsenal through a wake of self justifying carnage. A never ending cycle of action and reaction in an escalation feedback loop. A bad day that started with an inconvenience that only got worse and worse as the day went on. Both "protagonists" do as the player guides to the fullest. they were both clean slates made entirely for us to project onto. And both released within a year of each other. could you IMAGINE what was going through the HECU's mind when they started having regular losses at the hands of The Freeman... The HECU aren't evil people. Neither are the hostiles in Postal. But something has to be present in someone to pull through these impossible odds and declare themselves a hero on a crusade. And that something is the Player's Control. Where they differ, is Half Life tells you that your wake of unyielding carnage and tidalwave of blood was a sane decision made by a sound mind in the face of an insane apocalyptic event. Postal tells you outright that you are an absolute trainwreck, and that your actions could only be justified through paranoid delusion that the world you unleashed yourself upon was somehow more hostile than you. 2 sides of one coin.

Gman saved gordon's ass by putting him in stasis, and saving gordon for a time where his ruthless violence would be needed again... and this time WELCOMED. I mean think about it. the HECU chatter is still hooked up to government comms. The chain of command finds its way back to the president of the united states. Gordon's face was on-file and being investigated by homeland roughly around the Forget About Freeman level. He was in the process of being labeled a terrorist, and if his face was seen in a nearby city, it would be placed on just as high alert as if people saw Postal Dude. basically the combine response to his presence. In all honesty, POSTAL may very well be the canonical sequel to Half Life should they occur in the same universe and involve the same guy in a deteriorating mental state due to constant violence and high stress. He would very much go out like Rambo.
