Ace of Spades is still the best interpretation of By the Fireplace or even better. The SMOKE or realistic smokyness is what I love about it. I wear this at night and last till the next day.

Im content with LATTAFA 𝑨𝑴𝑬𝑬𝑹 𝑨𝑳 𝑶𝑼𝑫 𝑰𝑵𝑻𝑬𝑵𝑺𝑬.....its close enough to By the Fireplace. And in the air it smells amazing and I get mad compliments...(99% of the people that have given me complements and I have spoken to have never heard of By the Fireplace) It lasts for more than 10 hours. Mine has mascerated for about 8 months.

Hey, if you have not yet tested french avenue pinnace noir then I can recommend :) it is not hyped at all, it is very similar to discounted boss bottled intense. Notes on paper this is quite similar to Layton, but scent itself is not close. Quality of pinnace noir is outstanding, it creates a very pleasant bubble around and I get soft whiffs for very long time. Nothing that my nose would not like, very very smooth. Presentation is very weird, but acceptable ;p

Imo. closest and best blended clone of Layton is Orientica Royal Bleu . A little more expensive but a higher quality blend then other clones and performs a bit better then Layton
