I enjoyed listening to the profiles of the recipients you picked. The first one was particularly inspiring. It does seems as if the teacher is truly interested in helping the students learn about other cultures and walks of life. Those kinds of educators are the ones I remember fondly. Quick tip for Washi tape: Instead of using scissors, just place a straight edge where you want it cut, press firmly to prevent the washi tape from sliding under it, then pull the washi tape up as though you were cutting tape from a tape dispenser. You get a nice clean edge. I use a metal ruler that I keep handy at my desk, but any plastic card (old credit card) works in a pinch.
