Poster Board Paper Purse!!!

In this video I make a huge paper purse made out of poster board! The idea was sent to me by Shirley Murray and I fell in love with it! This purse is so stinking cute and I enjoyed the challenge!

Very nice and very easy. Love your ideas. Just another thing for me to make for my craft fairs. I did make your smaller bag from 12 x 12 and sold them at my craft fair. I would put some tissues, sweets, mini pen, mini post it note, maybe some lip balm, all for a girls party or just for fun. THANK YOU SO MUCH XX

I just now found this post and had an idea to make folding a bit easier, at least for me. Before I folded my poster board, I used a yardstick, secured with painter's tape, along the side where my marks were. This gave me a sharp edge to fold against. It worked quite nicely.

So so cute!! I am going to make one for a bridal shower and put things for the bride ,not household things,and for a diaper bag,and actually use a pack of diapers. Would be great for a teacher,a women that is retiring ,WOW! Now my mind is racing!! Thank You so much for sharing!

I made a paper purse for my mom, for Mother's Day last year. And I also made a woman style wallet for gift cards. And I put an adult coloring book, candy and a couple nic naks in it!

I see this for any occasion...oooh...a. Get well or thinking of you or journal gift purse filled with things to build a journal book. Just have to make the bottom study and maybe use crop a file to anchor straps with grommets...so super cute

This is such a large purse and I'm loving it! You can put so much in this I think. A book, along with some treats, a stuffed animal, body lotions and sprays, a new phone, etc....Gosh so much would fit! I think you could use a metal yardstick and a stylus or bone folder to score between the 8" marks. That will make the folds easier to do and also more precise.

You should try Un-Du for removing those sticky stickers. It works great, doesn't harm most papers (even photos!), but it does stink.

Well look I'm kinda real late watching this like it'd 2020. Lol. I've done one like this using your tote/ hand bag last year but this one I'm doing this year. I'm using in October for the Boo! game. You boo your neighbor at Halloween. Putting bath and body works lotion, saop, candle wax tarts, and bath ball. Some candy treats also. Thank you so much. Putting Halloween paper instead to decorate.
