I love your videos!!! I did my schooling during the pandemic and felt uncertain with my massage techniques & kinesiology. Thank you for your anatomy techniques and your amazing metaphors 😅.

Question the movement shouldn’t be done towards the heart??? First time I see the movement this way
@bodyworksbyrob58362 жыл бұрын
Don't think anyone said you shouldn't. Strokes should normally go towards the heart (centripetal). Of course depending on your clients health theres always considerations, but on a normal healthy client it would not be the end of the world to do centrifugal strokes

What if the client can't dq that?
@bodyworksbyrob5836 Жыл бұрын
I'm assuming you mean the leg to the side stretch? I would just do stretches in the supine position instead as range of motion techniques will be easier.

Draping is very Victorian. Sorry.
@bodyworksbyrob583611 ай бұрын
Ha, yes I can be considered quite conservative with my drape. There are certainly more "freeing" variations, but I do typically stick with the diaper drape more often than not.

@@bodyworksbyrob5836 I do some massage as an avocation more I do men only but would love to too work with women but don’t know how to do professional draping. Lol.

If they had limited mobility, I would just save a stretch like that for my supine routine and do what stretches I could within their limits. Check out my supine leg routine for those stretches!
