I think this game shows coach sanders is a legit great coach in case anyone still has doubts. Colorado had a good game plan to play to their strengths/compensate for their weaknesses against top tier competition. A good amount of key playmakers missing, and he had the backups playing their guts out, even when they were down big. Didnt give up, gave themselves a chance to win late, and grew as a team. And using this press conference as a thorough and honest and suprisingly patient accounting of where this team is at, with succinct and insightful analysis for the benefit of the press. I have to be honest, at the beginning of the season I couldnt see how a bunch of transfers were gonna turn around a 1-11 team and I thought he was taking on job that couldnt be done, but he has these kids who mostly didnt even know eachother 9 months ago playing hard and professionally against strong odds. Mad respect, from some jerk in a youtube comments section

The fact that he’s got incoming recruits hungry ready to join next year ready and his effect is trickling down to high school so they are getting ready and doing the best academically and in football. Prime is really doing things man this is how recruiting should be. He’s not trying to sell anyone or bribe them he’s letting the play on the field and his coaching style and his swag speak. If you work, you eat, you don’t, you don’t work you end up starving. If more people would be their authentic self like him this world would be a much better place.
@thespadestable Жыл бұрын
All schools have incoming recruits the next year. But there are some players who won't mind going to U of C to be a part of Deion's media circus, while other players need to go to a top ranked school for the exposure against other quality schools.
@chipskylark172 Жыл бұрын
@@thespadestableif you think it’s about the “media” then that’s you. Coach Prime laid it all out in this presser. He doesn’t give fancy speeches, he’s not fancy, he’s just him and he puts those on the field that truly want it. If you don’t want it, you’re gone. He doesn’t have time for you. You can even watch some of his practices from JSU and how he had his players disciplined on the field and off the field. If you were late, you’d hear about it. He also brings his swagger that trickles into the team that builds the team up if they want it. And the players know he’s the real deal because look at his resume. Yeah he’s gonna brag and trash talk but nothing that’s out of pocket and most coaches are so stuck in the stone ages they don’t want to allow the players to be themselves. That’s why players are itching to play for Deion. The media is just extra after the hard work.
