Love how Steph addressed the elephant in the room. Way to be an advocate for your players! Go Sun!☀️ 🧡

Hahaha, you left CC on the video trying to catch a bit more views! 😂😂 Good luck with that! So far 39K views of post-game media on the Fever channel and 299 on this channel! Yes, just 299. Good luck gaining more fans with those dirty plays! I knew about AT after that nasty game with three consecutive flagrants fouling Angel Reese. Never became a fan of AT! And I was indeed a fan of Carrington, I loved her game, until that nasty flagrant poke in the eye. Not a fan anymore! The Sun Organisation and the League really need to do something to stop nasty behaviour on court.

Didn't anybody ask them why AT & DC had become the two dirtiest players of the league? AT is right on the words but not in targeting the root of the issue (at least the root on which she, the Sun, and the league have all the control: stop nasty dirty players!). Yes, use those words on yourself: "Something needs to be done!" like "Them (The Sun) checking their own players!" or "The league checking players", "But this has to stop"! Yes AT, stop! Stop it!

Ironic. All the warnings from WNBA players saying rookies are playing grown women now. It is these same grown women whining, crying and complaining. I always imagined mental and emotional strength, as well as self discipline, accompanied great players and pro athletes. Some of these WNBA women are not the best dignity role models for our future female professional athletes. There always has been, and always will be, some offensive fans. Many of these WNBA women fail to tune out the fanatics. WNBA players choose the world stage. Ladies, you can't change people/fans, but you can change/strengthen your overall internal toughness. So shake it off and let security do their jobs, if applicable. Most of us WNBA fans tune in for great basketball, and can do without the perpetuated drama. With that said, the SUN rocked it against the Fever. Great game. Great win! Congrats to Carrington for rightfully earning Most Improved Player award.

I wouldn’t consider addressing racism, homophobia, and misogyny as “complaining”. As Steph so eloquently stated in this interview, the media needs to stop allowing the trolls to control the narrative. Which is a factual statement. You don’t go to your job everyday expecting derogatory remarks from outsiders. How is it a bad thing to ask for more respect in this case? Let’s put ourselves in their shoes maybe. And yes, go Sun!

@@bri-jz4tg Respect is earned. These are professional athletes... or are they? Racism, homophobia, and misogyny has, and always will, exist. If these hatred traits fade, then another type of hatred will form. It is just how human societies shamefully seem to be. It is not what others do to you, it is all about how you rise above it. If public life is too much for these ladies, find a different career path.

@@bri-jz4tg And yes, I had been the target of racism, homophobia, and misogyny, especially in the early 80s. In the south back then, one moved away from family who don't accept your lifestyle so as to not "embarrass" them. I'm humble by those who appreciated my efforts in professionalism, continuity and valuing everyone. Its these folks who eradicated almost every issue I silently faced everyday back then. I never had to complain or say a word. Kindness, admiration and respect is a blessing earned. You get what you give.

*25th of Sept 👍 Mabrey with that 3 to seal the deal. She’s been playing strong with this 1st round. 🔥 The Lynx will be another battle. It’s good to hear some speak of the racism and toxicity of some fans on SM. It exists in society so it exists in all fan bases. And unfortunately, it will always exist. 👎
