If they start McCall against Clemson they will just have to bench him again. CJ gives you the best chance. That means they will start McCall

Nailed it. Doeren and crew flub QB1 every year, then hype up their pick as "experienced", then have to bench said pick for a more talented player(albeit, less experienced), then lose credibility for not playing the guy that gives you the best chance to win 😂rinse-and-repeat State Doeren football 😢

What really impressed me about CJ was that interception didn't scare him!! Came out and played great the second half!!

Looking at the 2 QBs there’s a big difference in play style. McCall doesn’t have the big arm so he seems to rely on more timing routes and throwing to a spot rather than throwing to a target. Bailey has so much arm talent/strength that it seems like he believes he can throw guys open. Pros and cons for each style but it really seems like Bailey’s style fits this offensive scheme better. Curious what you think?

Seems I heard this conversation about starting a red shirt QB, what was it, 2 yrs ago, only the name was MJ Morris. Then he died on the field behind a bad O line, and disappeared. So yeah, put CJ back there and hope he doesn't get killed @Clemson. God Bless him, I'll be praying for him.

At some point you’ve gotta look at the team under McCall and look at it under CJ, which one passes the eye test. it’s obvious the team looks better under CJ.

Do we think Grayson is just not right and might not be after that hit last season? I think he took a shot to the head on a qb keeper midway thru the 2nd. He just looks gun shy and almost afraid out there

CJB is the future and he should get the start, going forward. His win may of been against a “bad Ltech team”, but it would have been a loss had GM not got injured.

DD said in the presser that CJ is our starter now for however long McCall is out which makes me think multiple weeks.

This is not a well coached football team. Favored by 21, trailing at the half and finally win by 10. Didn't even start playing until the second half and were far from stellar then against LOUISANA TECH? The O line has a lot of experience being BAD. Clemson must be shaking in their boots.

Bailey all the way! Looks better than McCall hands down. Don't know if we win this last game with McCall at the helm. Bailey is essentially a redshirt freshman since he came in early. Play the freshman. I've seen a lot of football and as a freshman he gives a better chance of winning a game than McCall. Give him the reigns! He has the IT that all the great players have.

I'm surprised at Michael. He's normally a straight shooter but not tonight. This was an overall poor performance by the TEAM.

Start the player who gives you the best chance to win, period. I happen to think that’s Bailey until he proves otherwise, but college football isn’t at a point where you can sit a better player for the sake of potential development. The time is now for everyone and that clock will reset next year

NC State will not compete for the championship. They’re not that good and all of the preseason hype jinxed us.
