Congrats to the seniors on getting the W for their last game and to the young talent with their full potential in the next few years that could manifest into big things for the program.

To answer the question in the chat about K-State's record vs. Big 10 opponents, the official number is very bad due to the vast majority of the games being the annual series with current Big 10 member Nebraska, from when they were in the Big 6/7/8/12. That part of the record is 15-78-2, while K-State's record against other current members of the Big 10 is 12-33-1. Against teams who were in the Big 10 at the time the games were played, the record is much better, but also very sparse. The Cats just haven't scheduled many games against opponents who are Big 10 members at the time. The last 5 of these were stretched out over the years from 1998-2024, with the Cats having a 3-2 record in those 5 games. 4 of them were in Bowl games: the 1998 Alamo Bowl loss to Purdue, the 2004 Fiesta Bowl loss to Ohio State, the 2013 Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl win over Michigan and this year's Rate Bowl win over Rutgers. The fifth was K-State's 27-7 win over Iowa in Arrowhead Stadium in the 2000 Eddie Robinson Classic (a game I was personally at). The last time K-State played regular season games (excluding the single "Classic" mentioned above) against an opponent that was a member of the Big 10 when the game was played was all the way back in the first two great years of Snyderball, when the Cats swept a home-and-away set of games with Minnesota in 1993 and 1994. Before that was the 1987-88 series AGAINST Snyder, who was the OC for the Iowa team the Cats lost to both years (just like they lost to everyone else in those two seasons). Before the 1980s Iowa series, the only Big 10 opponent at the time of playing them the Cats played against after 1965 was Wisconsin in the 1982 Independence Bowl. In addition to the annual games against Nebraska, the Cats also played games against future Big 10 teams in Penn State in 1968 and 1969, Washington in the 1981 and 1991 regular seasons and the 1999 Holiday Bowl, USC in 2001 and 2002, UCLA in the 2009 and 2010 regular season, the 2015 Alamo Bowl and the 2017 Cactus Bowl, and Oregon in the 2013 Fiesta Bowl.

Enjoyed the post game shows. Maybe Cole should do post game on the women’s basketball team? Since he seems to watch their games, he can add to the audience for GPC

I loved the effort, and I loved the comeback even more! But I honestly don’t know if we play Iowa State or Colorado , if we can pull that comeback off. We cannot get down 2-3 scores. I don’t want to sacrifice the second half success that we had this year but maybe next year try to work on being a first half team. Come out the gate swinging and these games will become a lot easier

I know you guys are preaching truth around the 45 minute mark. Why does The Ohio State have a LB in the portal that we are glad to have? Like you said, they make men compete.

I agree with Big B that 8-4 in this regular season was a disappointment. While I don't necessarily think 8-4 would be a disappointment EVERY year, it definitely was for THIS year. Anything fewer than 10 regular season wins and a Big 12 Championship Game appearance (and a CFP berth IF we won that) would have been a disappointment. It's a matter of not randomly faceplanting in games as we have done at least once per year. This year, we did it 3 times. BYU (which may have been a loss even if we hadn't faceplanted, but should have been a much closer loss, at least), Houston, and Arizona State specifically. Regular season aside, the comeback, and the fact that we did it with younger players who will be back next year, makes the Rate Bowl a success and gives us a very positive note going into the offseason. It gives our players invaluable firsthand experience of coming back from an adverse situation, and gives us 3 straight 9-win seasons for the first time since the school record streak of them from 1993-2000. Let's hope the players and coaching staff can ride that into Dublin and beyond next year for victories and can figure out how to avoid faceplanting again!

11:31 Hey Big B, let’s change kstate culture. Instead of saying “I know a lot of fans think 8-4 is good”, don’t give our fans a nudge to be accepting of mediocrity. Lay it down plain and simple “I know 8 wins seems good but it’s just not good anymore! With the new playoff layout, 8 wins is a piss-poor season”
