I watched her interview once, where she touched some of those topics... She did not go into very specifics but the conclusion I made from her talk was that she is not a Superstar because she just does not want to do a lot of ordinary crap that studios want her to do I am perfectly fine with her decision

It's the management, when you sign to a studio ... you don't have a normal life.. you have to abide to a schedule or interviews and shows, and marketing exposure... this sounds good? Sure for image...oh and they WILL change your image... like if they don't okay the one you have on? Nah they want to change it , and remember that contract? It forces that... so she obviously didn't wanted that..

I just timed that high note. It was 7 seconds to the first little shift in her voice. 12 seconds total from its beginning until she finally took a real breath at the end of "where were you." Unbelievable pipes. She has Whitney Houston level power.

It must be such a privilege to be a part of a group with talent on this level and you can tell that the musicians realize that and soak up every second. Note that in addition to her musical talent and being easy to look at, Morgan has a very good stage presence. Her theatrical training shows in all of her performances. Turn the sound off and you will see all the little moves she makes that enhance her performance. In this video notice how instead of tapping her foot as most performers would do, she kicks her high heel out to the side for emphasis. As others have said, Morgan has a wonderful talent that she works at to keep razor sharp and improve. All I can say about her popularity or rather the lack of it, is that these days the music industry is screwed up.
