Another thing coming out of Clash of the Castle was "Drew can't win because you can't do a heel v heel match at Summerslam". But now we're getting Priest vs Gunther.

I thought it was a good show despite my issues with how the MITB was used & the finish of the World Heavyweight Championship match. Watching live was an adventure so many Ads!

Boston Pizza near the Scarborough Town Centre showed it. The sound was on a Soccer Match inside the bar for most of the night. I watched the last 2 matches on a Patio.

Thumbs in the middle show for me. None of the matches really left an impact on me, and there was just so much down time between matches. Hot crowd continues to elevate these PLEs. But if i had to pay extra for any of these shows i would be disappointed with my purchase. I appreciate John for asking actual important questions at the press conference. This is the reason Post continues to be the best wrestling site around

Great show guys! MITB was a good show, I was entertained and still had enough time to take breaks in between 😅. I kind of think the ending when drew came out was misstimed a bit. He was probably supposed to come out, and his music hit to interrupt the three count.

I was watching the press conference last night and I said to myself whoever asked John Cena that Vince McMahon question has a lot of balls. I had no idea it was John Pollock 😂😂😂😂. I didn't recognize the voice. At least you tried. No one else had the courage to do it

I’m pretty sure Drew said he’d win MITB and cash it in the same night at some point.

A five match card is an easy watch on television. However, I understand why those that paid to see it live may feel like they didn’t get their money’s worth. It’s impressive how the WWE has created such a loyal fan base based on characters and storylines. The matches are secondary and many wil pay over $100 for a five match card. On the other hand, I think AEW should usually cut 2-3 matches from its shows.

Triple H is a huge Boxing Fan. Some Boxing Cards have only 5 Fights scheduled. Some have 7 Fights scheduled. Triple H patterns the card structure of Special Events he books after Boxing.

I don't think I'll ever be a fan of same night Cash In (successful or not). I want at least a couple months of build with the case winner.

You knew CM Punk was going to cost Drew McIntyre the World Heavyweight Title. The botched pinfall before the Cash-In with Damien Priest failing to kickout while it was ruled a 2 Count could give Seth Rollins a case to be added to the World Heavyweight Title Match at SummerSlam involving Priest and Gunther. The Women's Money In The Bank Match was slightly better than the Men's Money In The Bank Match in my opinion. The Women's Money In The Bank Match gets my Match Of The Night Bonus. Sami Zayn pinning Bron Breakker clean was a shocker considering how strong Breakker has been booked since being called up from NXT. Having Solo Sikoa pin Cody Rhodes in the 6-Man Tag Team Match to close the show was perfect. It sets up the Main Event of SummerSlam. John Cena's Retirement Tour Announcement stole the show though. John Cena vs. Randy Orton needs to happen at WrestleMania XLI. I give Money In The Bank a 7.5 out of 10.

rollins got screwed, preist did not kick out, it was a clean win for rollins, look at it, preist never kicked out, HHH fix this.

They can use that as a way to put Seth Rollins into the World Heavyweight Title Match at SummerSlam. You can have Damien Priest or Seth Rollins take the pin instead of Gunther. You can save Gunther's World Heavyweight Title win for Bash In Berlin.

I’m not trying to be an instigator, but how is Vince McMahon a “relevant” topic for John Cena? Had the Grant suit dropped recently, I get wanting his response. But you have seen and discussed Cena’s answers to these types of questions for months across several interviews. In an ideal scenario where Cena gives a completely different answer at this press conference, what would’ve been satisfactory? You yourselves have acknowledged Cena and other talent are obviously biased because they have had a close relationship with Vince, some of which have spanned decades. For the talent, what is there left to say? Cena is a tier above everyone else for obvious reasons, but your rationale for this being “relevant” isn’t adding. I’m not advocating to throw Cena softballs like so many of the fan journalists/influencers in attendance do at every opportunity, but the Vince question sounds like fishing for a sound bite versus asking something the audience may be more interested in (ie, questions about the farewell tour, Netflix, TKO at large, culture of the company, follow ups on questions from his prior interviews, etc.) I think Paul Levesque is more fair game, even if he’s just in charge of the content, because ultimately he’s an executive. Either way, it feels like we’re manufacturing stories that aren’t there with these press conferences. They’re fan events, they’re unserious. Maybe the sooner WWE just acknowledges this the better so people don’t go in with the expectation that anything really substantial comes out of these

I've been a fan so long, I predicted EVERY Winner. Also that Drew would get F**ked over by CM. Punk. I knew they weren't going to break up a cash cow like Judgemental Day. They just keep on hiring more and more Samoans. Waiting for Samoa Joe to show up. The Samoa Joe corner.

I like how John Pollock was the only journalist Triple H shutdown at the press conference… always going in the gutter and stone throwing, focus on the product … very creepy his interest in Smut…Wai keep up the positivity and great work
@64jayr
@64jayr Ай бұрын
It’s been 3 or 4 press conferences in a row now where there’s this expectation Triple H is going to answer legal questions. It’s so clearly obvious he is only going to say positive business numbers and discuss the content. As an executive I don’t blame a journalist for asking a question like this, but at a point, it’s time to accept this guy is not the guy to ask about these things. There’s manufactured drama at every one of these pressers because WWE has not made it obvious yet that this presser is a fan event for influencers to ask kayfabe questions.

There was no mention of John asking Triple H a question. Brandon Thurston did about the Grant case. So in addition to equating actual journalism with being in the gutter and an interest in smut, you're also wrong. Motivate yourself elsewhere.

@@SouthJerseyBrianThese are reporters for a Carny site. If they were real journalist, they would be smart enough to ask those questions to the appropriate people to answer them. They tried to gain some fame to ask Cena & Triple H out of all people like they’re going to give some thoughts to the legalities of the situation. They knew what they were doing.
@64jayr
@64jayr Ай бұрын
@@nixy..honestly, I agree with this. Carny is harsh, but asking Cena about Vince months removed and after he’s commented on it several times; and Brandon once again asking the creative team guy about federal investigations is digging for headlines. I don’t buy any sincerity behind it. Especially with how clearly Thurston is playing a character these days on Twitter.
