I love this antenna. I've had it for 3 years. I have it mounted on my Manfrotto 055 aluminum photography tripod, it takes 2 minutes to deploy and get on the air, using my FT-891 and the Z100 Plus tuner. Identical setup to yours. 73s de 9A5ELO.

Yes, it is one heck of an amazing antenna. I use it about 40% of the time. Still rather use my EFHW, but this works just as great.

Another great video. I would like to have seen a closeup of the BB7V mounted. Did you have any radials?

Hum.. this antenna would make portable ops with a car very comfortable. You know those drive on mounts? So, one of that and 2 sections of aluminum tubing to mount the antenna on and something to connect the grounding of the antenna to the car. Although the antenna is designed to be used without counterpoises it always improves reception and swr 😊 Following to know how you’ll be using this antenna
