Good afternoon Kat, great to see you again! Please be careful when using shovel with bare feet. You can damage the ligaments and wind up with plantar fasciitis. It’s very painful and can take many months to heal (I had it happen). I noticed you were being cautious but even then over time it can still happen. We want tog 15:34 the keep you healthy 😁. I was yelling thru the telle that you were overlooking some potatoes but I guess you didn’t hear me , hope you found them all. Thanks again!

A nice harvest… I can tell how much work it is, but you’ve done a magnificent job… I was wondering concerning storage… and the mice situation… is it possible to store them in something metal… that they can’t get into… or is that not good for the potato itself?? Take care and stay safe and well… thanks for sharing your harvest… 🥔🍠🥔

I have an idea , could you prepare a small portion of each of the varieties and give us your opinion on the flavor of each? The yellow variety reminds me of what we call “Russet”. It is mostly served wit steak dinners and isn’t as moist as the red varieties. I prefer red potatoes for mashed, fried or even baked.

Wash them well and do not peel them The idea that the peel was next to the dirt and should not be eaten is an old falsehood that has got to go All of the vitamins are in the peel. Don't throw them away Potato peels, often overlooked, offer a nutritional goldmine with fiber, antioxidants, and potassium for heart, digestive, and skin health benefits. Some compounds found in potato peels, such as chlorogenic acid and caffeic acid, exhibit anti-inflammatory properties
